Quality Commenting Checklist

The First 15 Quality Commenting Checklist
The comments section is the most important part of blogging. Here in Room 15 we are working on making quality blog comments and welcome comments from our school community as well as visitors from New Zealand and abroad.

Our students have developed a checklist of what we think makes a quality comment.
Does your comment:
  • Read like a letter? It should have a greeting and a closing.
  • Use correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and have full sentences?
  • Make a positive connection between the post or add some new information?
  • Include a question to keep the conversation going?
  • Have only your first name and and our url/blog address (tisthompson.blogspot.co.nz)?
  • Get proofread?
Then you can hit publish!
